Welcome to Happinest!

The human experience is one that inevitably encounters birth. Whether it is us giving birth or supporting those we love in their birth process; a new soul transforms the community nest. At the moment of conception, a portal opens. We will never know when the portal will close; the way we cannot predict our own completion of life. It’s a powerful state that as women we have absolute authority over.

We were never meant to walk this journey of conception and parenting alone. Within this space you may seek to educate yourself on your birth options, find community, or reach for resources to employ at another time. You are free to linger and lounge for as long as you would like. Welcome.

  • You already have everything you need to birth

You already have the authority to conceive and grow a baby. Why does this change when women give birth? Where do our rights end?

  • Trust your body to birth

Do you trust your body to birth this baby? Who would you be if you did?

  • How you Birth Matters

We have an opportunity when we birth; to heal our lineage forward and backward. What we do today will influence the next 7 generations

  • You have infinite capacity

You can expand past even your imagination. Your baby is wise and will come to you, and you to them.

I have always been curious about things behind closed doors. My own body and reproduction was something I didn’t even know had a door! When I fell in love for the first time that door suddenly appeared, and yet there was no obvious knob to open it.

I scoured the web for answers; becoming increasingly focused on contraception options (or lack there of), pregnancy, and birth in the USA vs other parts of the world. In 2019 and 2020, I traveled to rural Tanzania in the role of a doula to two local maternity clinics. Birth is something that unites us all, a constant among any nation or ethnicity.

Growing up on a farm showed me that birth is simple, an normal extension of a living being. Very rarely did the animal need any external attention. Often I would muck it up by watching and once off to bed, the morning would reveal the new baby. I believe women have those same instincts to conceive and birth on their own timeline.

Today, I am an educator, a listener, and a healer. I am so excited to get to know you. Please reach out <3 Hannah
